In Lucknow on April 7, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) triumphed over Gujarat Titans in a comprehensive display, marking their first-ever victory against the Titans and propelling KL Rahul’s team to the third position on the IPL 2024 points table.

Following the match, KL Rahul commended the collective effort of his bowlers and emphasized the importance of batting first after winning the toss. He praised the adaptability of the young bowling unit, noting that batting first allows them to gauge the pitch conditions and adapt accordingly.
Rahul also highlighted LSG’s strong record defending totals exceeding 160 in IPL matches. He attributed this success partly to the conditions at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, describing it as occasionally low-scoring, and emphasized the advantage of playing at home.
Furthermore, Rahul praised LSG’s spin trio of Manimaran Siddharth, Krunal Pandya, and Ravi Bishnoi for their contributions to the team’s bowling attack. He lauded Siddharth’s ability to open the bowling effectively, recognized Krunal’s vast IPL experience, and acknowledged Bishnoi’s continuous improvement as a leg-spinner.
With a convincing 33-run victory over Gujarat Titans, KL Rahul and LSG now look forward to their upcoming match against Delhi Capitals on April 12 at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium.
