Extending a welcome invitation, the BCCI granted the wishes of 12,000 individuals, including patients battling serious health conditions like cancer and thalassemia, along with their families. The guest list also included deserving Blood Donors and the Organizers of Blood Donation Camps, recognizing their invaluable contributions.

This special gesture saw these 12,000 individuals, along with their families, treated to an unforgettable experience. They were all present at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, witnessing a nail-biting encounter between the Gujarat Titans and the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2024 match number 32. This act of kindness transcended the boundaries of the game, not only bringing immense joy to those invited but also serving a greater purpose. It successfully raised awareness about cancer and thalassemia, highlighting the challenges faced by individuals living with these conditions. More importantly, it provided them with a much-needed respite, offering a day filled with enjoyment and entertainment amidst their ongoing battles.
