Mhambrey’s Previous Experience
This isn’t Mhambrey’s first experience with the Mumbai Indians. He was part of the coaching setup during their early successes, contributing to the team’s victories in the IPL in 2013 and the Champions League T20 titles in 2011 and 2013. Recently, he served as the bowling coach for the Indian national team, where he played a pivotal role in developing a successful fast-bowling unit and contributed to India’s T20 World Cup triumph.

As a tactically astute coach, Mhambrey brings a wealth of experience, which will be crucial as the Mumbai Indians aim for their sixth IPL title. A former right-arm pacer, Mhambrey made his international debut in 1996 and has won multiple domestic titles with Mumbai. He will also focus on nurturing the young talent scouted by the franchise.
