Phil Salt emerged as the hero for KKR with a blistering half-century. He showcased his power-hitting prowess, smashing seven boundaries and a staggering five sixes on his way to a magnificent 68 runs off just 33 balls. Salt’s aggressive knock was a masterclass in clean hitting, and his dominance was further amplified by a stunning six off Khaleel Ahmed, which marked his fourth fifty in the IPL. This explosive innings laid the solid foundation for KKR’s emphatic victory.
Sunil Narine provided valuable support to Salt, bolstering KKR’s innings, and their crucial 79-run partnership forged in just 6.1 overs firmly established KKR’s control over the match. Consequently, the KKR batting lineup appeared unstoppable throughout the chase.
