Hardik Pandya has risen to the top of the ICC T20I all-rounder rankings, securing the number 1 spot after climbing two positions. With 244 rating points, Pandya holds a 13-point lead over second-ranked Dipendra Singh Airee. This achievement sees him replace Liam Livingstone, who drops two spots to third with 230 points. Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis holds the fourth spot, while Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga climbs one place to reach fifth.

Pandya’s rise is attributed to his consistent all-round performances. Though he didn’t score big in the recent T20I series against South Africa, his 39 runs under pressure in the second match proved crucial. He also played a vital role with the ball and delivered key all-round performances during the T20I series against Bangladesh, further boosting his ranking.
Pandya is the only Indian all-rounder in the top 10, with Axar Patel ranked 13th. In the batters’ rankings, Tilak Varma has surged to the third spot, overtaking Suryakumar Yadav. India has been a dominant force in T20 cricket recently, winning the 2024 T20 World Cup and maintaining an unbeaten record in series under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav, with victories over Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and South Africa.
Pandya’s rise to the top clearly reflects his growing influence in T20 cricket, further cementing his reputation as one of the world’s premier all-rounders.
