Gujarat Titans pulled off a thrilling one-run victory over Delhi Capitals in a dramatic IPL 2026 clash. Chasing 210, Delhi fell just short at 209 for 8 despite a brilliant 92 from KL Rahul. The match went down to the final ball, where Prasidh Krishna held his nerve and bowled a slower bouncer that David Miller failed to connect. A quick underarm throw from Jos Buttler resulted in Kuldeep Yadav being run out, sealing the win for GT.

The turning point came in the final over. Delhi needed 13 runs, and after some big hits, the equation came down to 2 runs off 2 balls. Surprisingly, Miller refused a single on the second-last delivery, choosing to finish the game himself. However, he missed the final ball, and that decision proved costly.
Earlier, Miller had returned from a brief injury to keep Delhi in the hunt with some powerful hitting. Rahul had already set the foundation with an aggressive innings, playing freely and attacking the bowlers. However, Gujarat stayed in the contest thanks to Rashid Khan, who picked up key wickets in the middle overs, including Nitish Rana and Sameer Rizvi.
Gujarat’s total of 210 was built on strong contributions from Shubman Gill (70), Jos Buttler (52), and Washington Sundar (55). Their combined effort gave GT just enough cushion, even though they slowed down in the final overs.
In the end, despite Delhi’s strong chase, Gujarat’s composure in the final moments made the difference, giving them their first win of the season while handing Delhi their first defeat.
