The inaugural season of the Global Super League (GSL) 2024 is set to begin on November 27 at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. This exciting new tournament features five teams: Lahore Qalandars, Rangpur Riders, Hampshire, Victoria, and Guyana Amazon Warriors. Over the course of the tournament, the teams will compete in a round-robin format, with the top two advancing to the final match scheduled for December 6.
Cricket West Indies (CWI) backs the event, and all matches will take place in Guyana, offering a unique setting for the tournament. The season opener will see Guyana Amazon Warriors take on Lahore Qalandars in what promises to be a thrilling start to the series.
The Global Super League 2024 will run from November 27 to December 6, with a mix of early-morning and evening matches. Some games will begin at 04:30 AM IST to cater to global audiences, while others will kick off at 07:30 PM IST, targeting viewers in the subcontinent.
For fans in India, the live streaming of GSL 2024 will be available on the FanCode app and website. Additionally, the Sony Sports Network has secured the broadcast rights for India, so viewers can catch the action on Sony Sports channels.
International fans can also enjoy the matches through various streaming platforms. In Australia, Fox Sports will cover the event, while in Bangladesh, it will be available on T-Sports. Caribbean viewers can tune in on Rush, while Guyana will have multiple options, including NCN, TVG, and Enetworks.
