Deepti Sharma’s exceptional performance has propelled her to the joint second position in the recent ICC Women’s T20I bowling rankings. Simultaneously, Renuka Singh Thakur, the right-arm fast bowler, has secured the 10th spot, according to the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings unveiled on Tuesday. Deepti now shares the second spot with Pakistan’s left-arm off-spinner Sadia Iqbal, while England’s Sophie Ecclestone continues to dominate as the top T20I bowler worldwide.

Deepti Sharma rise in the rankings can be credited to South African spinner Nonkululeko Mlaba slipping from the second to the fifth position after managing only one wicket in two games against Australia. In the all-rounder standings, the top ten remain constant, with Deepti holding onto her fourth-place position.
Moving to the batting rankings, Smriti Mandhana, India’s vice-captain, retains the fourth spot, leading among Indian players. Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, and Harmanpreet Kaur maintain rankings of 13th, 16th, and 17th, respectively.
Australia’s Beth Mooney, showcasing a stellar performance against South Africa, has surpassed compatriot Tahlia McGrath to secure the top spot in the T20I rankings for batters. McGrath remains in the second position, while Proteas captain Laura Wolvaardt holds the third position and achieves a new career-high rating.
In the updated T20I batters rankings, Ireland’s Amy Hunter and Gaby Lewis make significant strides due to impressive performances in their ongoing series against Zimbabwe. Hunter jumps 21 places to share the 18th spot, establishing a new career-high rating after consecutive unbeaten knocks of 101* and 77*.
In the all-rounder rankings, Ireland’s captain Laura Delany climbs three spots to 14th, while Zimbabwe’s Kelis Ndhlovu rises five spots to 17th after a notable half-century in the second game against Ireland.
