Unknown assailants attacked Hampshire Cricket captain James Vince’s residence twice this year, on April 15th and May 11th. The 33-year-old has been living in a village on the outskirts of Southampton for the past eight years. James Vince, a member of England’s 2019 ODI World Cup-winning squad, currently captains the English County team Hampshire.

Recently, unknown assailants have targeted his home and vehicles. Vince has now shared CCTV footage as evidence of the attacks.
In the early morning hours of April 15 and May 11, Hampshire Police reported that unknown assailants damaged two of Vince’s cars and broke the front windows of his house on both occasions. After repairing the house following the first attack, Vince faced a second assault in May.
In the video from the second incident, an intruder is seen receiving an item over a closed fence from another person. The intruder then throws what appears to be bricks through the front windows of the house and subsequently attacks a car parked in the driveway.
“We don’t want to risk the same thing happening again. It’s not fair for my wife or children to have to go through it again,” Vince said, addressing the incident.
James Vince is calling for peace and, moreover, wants to ensure the safety of his wife and two children amid these distressing incidents. Consequently, the attacks have raised concerns about the security and well-being of his family.
