Recently, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star visited his One8 Commune restaurant in Bengaluru, accompanied by teammates like Tim David and Phil Salt. During his visit, Kohli shared a memorable moment with fans that quickly went viral.
As Kohli walked into his restaurant, he spotted two fans nearby. One was wearing an RCB jersey with Kohli’s name, while the other sported a CSK jersey with MS Dhoni’s name. Without hesitation, Kohli cheekily pointed to the CSK fan’s jersey and flashed his signature smirk, sending everyone, including the CSK supporter, into fits of laughter. The playful moment was captured on camera and spread across social media, delighting fans of both teams.
The banter between Kohli and the CSK fan was fun, but on the field, RCB had the last laugh. In their recent match against Chennai, RCB emerged victorious by a massive 50-run margin at Chepauk. It was a significant win, marking their first victory at the venue in 17 years. RCB is currently sitting comfortably at the top of the IPL 2025 points table, with two wins from two matches.
Kohli has also been in excellent form with the bat, amassing 90 runs across the first two games. With such strong performances from their captain, RCB looks like a team ready to make a serious impact this season. Their next challenge comes against Gujarat Titans at Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 2, and another win could continue their dominant start.
