On Friday, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the eighth group-stage match of IPL 2025. The much-anticipated clash will be held at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, promising an exciting encounter between the two teams.

MS Dhoni, a CSK legend, is on the verge of becoming the highest run-scorer for the franchise in IPL history. He has amassed 4669 runs in 202 innings, just 19 runs short of surpassing Suresh Raina’s record of 4687 runs in 171 innings. A solid performance with the bat could see Dhoni claim the top spot.
Dhoni is also close to achieving a remarkable milestone behind the stumps. The veteran wicketkeeper has taken 148 catches for CSK. Just two more catches will take him to 150, and with five dismissals, he will complete 200 dismissals for the franchise, highlighting his exceptional wicketkeeping skills.
