In a recent development, both Lokesh Rahul, the captain of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), and Ruturaj Gaikwad, the skipper of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), have been fined a hefty sum of 12 lakh each by the IPL committee for breaching the IPL 2024 Code of Conduct Breach during their clash at Ekana Stadium.

The violation occurred due to both teams failing to maintain the required over rate during the match. This CSK vs LSG Match Penalty marks the first penalty for both LSG and CSK in the current IPL season, highlighting the seriousness of the breach.
