David Hemp, current High Performance head coach for Upcoming series, appointed as national men’s team batting coach, while former New Zealand all-rounder Andre Adams becomes bowling coach. Both bring extensive international experience to assist head coach Chandika Hathurusingha in all formats.

Hemp, holding ECB Level 4 Coaching Certification, boasts a successful first-class career and coaching stints with Pakistan Women’s National Team and Melbourne Stars in WBBL. Adams, previously with New Zealand White Ferns, brings ten years of coaching experience, including with New Zealand Black Caps and as Australia’s assistant coach.
Both sign two-year contracts and will start with Bangladesh team in upcoming series against Sri Lanka from March 4. Team began training with head coach Hathurusingha meeting players including new captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto. Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal will be absent from series due to undisclosed reasons.
Series consists of three T20Is, three ODIs, and two Tests, with matches starting from March 4 in Sylhet. Test series forms part of ICC World Test Championship cycle, with matches scheduled in Sylhet and Chattogram from March 22 to 30.
