Despite commendable cameos from Johnson Charles, Nicholas Pooran, and a quickfire 37 from Dre Russ, wickets fell at regular intervals, preventing them from gaining momentum. Rovman Powell fought a lone battle, scoring 63 off 36 balls, but lacked support from other batters. Towards the end, there were some unusual moments, including a run-out that didn’t count due to no appeal.

With this victory, Australia secured a 2-0 lead in the series, making it unassailable. The Aussies displayed a clinical performance, excelling in all three departments. Maxwell’s century set the tone with the bat, and the bowlers collectively played their part to comfortably seal the win.
