In the previous episode, titled Sakamoto vs. The Lab, Heisuke notices Aoi’s unease and sends Piisuke to locate Sakamoto. Meanwhile, at the Lab, Horiguchi recovers and resumes his fight against Sakamoto and Shin. Asakura reveals to Lu that Shin gained his psychic abilities after accidentally drinking a chemical. Though Asakura once attempted to cure him, Shin, feeling rejected, left the Lab. In the present, Asakura escapes with Lu, while Sakamoto and Shin defeat Horiguchi. However, a pit trap separates Sakamoto from his allies, forcing him to face Kashima, while Heisuke helps Shin against Seba.
Episode 9 will continue these battles as Shin struggles against Seba’s invisibility but teams up with Heisuke, whose sniping skills help counter Seba’s advantage. Meanwhile, Sakamoto battles Kashima, whose body modifications make him nearly indestructible. As the Lab begins to collapse, Shishiba and Osaragi press forward, leaving Sakamoto to face Kashima alone. To overcome Kashima’s overwhelming durability, Sakamoto must unleash his full strength.
Titled All Aboard, Sakamoto Days Episode 9 will release on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11 PM JST. It will air in Japan on multiple networks, including Tokyo TV, Osaka TV, Setouichi TV, Aichi TV, Hokkaido TV, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting. BS TV Tokyo will broadcast it on March 10, 2025, at midnight JST.
