Rajasthan Royals continued their strong start to IPL 2026 by defeating Mumbai Indians in a rain-shortened match in Guwahati, registering their third consecutive win and moving to the top of the points table. With the competition heating up, both the Orange Cap and Purple Cap races are starting to take shape.

Other batters who have made a strong impact include Heinrich Klaasen, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, and Rohit Sharma, all of whom have crossed the 100-run mark and are among the top performers.
On the bowling side, Rajasthan Royals’ Ravi Bishnoi is leading the Purple Cap race. He picked up 2 wickets for 25 runs in the match against Mumbai, taking his total to 7 wickets in the tournament. Earlier, he also delivered an impressive spell of 4 for 41 against Gujarat Titans, which boosted his position at the top.
Several bowlers are tied just behind him with five wickets each, including Vijaykumar Vyshak, Anshul Kamboj, Nandre Burger, and Jacob Duffy.
Overall, Rajasthan Royals are dominating both the team standings and individual performances, making them one of the strongest contenders early in the tournament.
