After Punjab Kings’ (PBKS) win over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Game 13 of IPL 2025, Nicholas Pooran remains the leading run-scorer. The LSG batter has scored 189 runs at an impressive average of 63 and a strike rate of 219.76. His campaign includes scores of 75 off 30 balls against Delhi Capitals (DC), 70 off 26 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and 44 against PBKS.
PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer has climbed to second place after his unbeaten 52 against LSG. Earlier, he smashed 97* off 42 balls against Gujarat Titans (GT), playing a key role in PBKS’ two wins. Gujarat’s B Sai Sudharsan is third on the Orange Cap list, scoring 137 runs from two innings at a strike rate of 167.07.
On the bowling front, Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) Noor Ahmad leads the Purple Cap race with nine wickets in three games. His left-arm wrist spin has been highly effective, delivering figures of 4 for 18, 3 for 36, and 2 for 28. He has outperformed CSK teammates R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, who have taken a combined four wickets.
Mitchell Starc is second with eight wickets in two games for DC. Though expensive in his opening match against LSG (3 for 42), he bounced back with a career-best 5 for 35 against SRH. He dismissed Travis Head, Ishan Kishan, and Nitish Kumar Reddy in the powerplay before returning to remove Harshal Patel and Wiaan Mulder.
LSG’s Shardul Thakur and CSK’s Khaleel Ahmed are tied for third with six wickets each in three games. Thakur’s best performance was 4 for 34 against SRH, while Khaleel took 3 for 29 against Mumbai Indians (MI).
