Williams Formula 1 junior driver Zak O’Sullivan has been confirmed as a full-time driver for Kondo Racing in the 2025 Super Formula season, taking the wheel of the team’s #4 car. This announcement comes as part of Toyota’s 13-strong roster for the upcoming campaign, showcasing a blend of established talent and rising stars.
O’Sullivan, who recently impressed during the Suzuka post-season test, will partner veteran Kenta Yamashita at Kondo Racing. The British driver, a former Formula 2 competitor, replaces Kazuto Kotaka, who transitions to the newly-formed TGMGP TGR-DC team.
The 18-year-old’s participation in the Suzuka test alongside fellow international drivers James Hedley and Juan Manuel Correa marked a significant step in his career. - Oliver Rasmussen, a former Jota World Endurance Championship driver, earns a seat at Team Impul alongside Mitsunori Takaboshi, who steps up from Toyota’s development program.
Meanwhile, KCMG, Inging, and Rookie Racing maintain their 2024 driver lineups, highlighting Toyota’s commitment to continuity within its core teams.
