Jake Paul continues to make waves in the boxing world, rapidly becoming one of the sport’s most talked-about figures. After his recent victory over boxing legend Mike Tyson, which saw him set multiple records, Paul is not content with his current success. Instead, he is determined to push further in his quest to become a boxing champion.
Since stepping into the ring, Paul has made it clear that he aims to one day claim a boxing title. Now, that opportunity may be within reach, thanks to a challenge from UK heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois.
In a direct message to the 27-year-old, Dubois offered Paul the chance to fight for the heavyweight title. “Hi, Jake. Good business on the weekend,” Dubois wrote. “But how would you feel fighting for the legitimate heavyweight championship of the world? This is Daniel Dubois calling you out, let’s get it on.”
Paul’s response came with his signature bravado. “Man’s been boxing for 12 years, has over 100 fights between amateur and pro, and fought on my undercard,” Paul replied. “But f*** it. I’m going to have Nakisa talk to Frankie Warren and get you in line for the throne.”
Paul also threw a dig at Artur Beterbiev, another elite boxer who had called him out after Paul’s win over Tyson. Despite his ambition, Paul dismissed Beterbiev’s challenge due to his lack of name recognition in the sport. “Unlike Artur Beterbiev, at least you have a few thousand fans,” Paul said.
Paul’s acceptance of Dubois’ challenge marks another potential high-profile showdown in his career as he seeks to cement his place in the world of boxing. Whether or not the fight materializes, one thing is clear: Jake Paul is determined to keep climbing the ranks and seeking out the biggest names in the sport.
