Bank on Reggiana’s Big Man
Pallacanestro Reggiana is back in the BCL, and this time they have a standout talent on their roster – 19-year-old Mouhamed Faye. Faye, already establishing himself as one of the brightest prospects in international basketball, is off to a stellar start in his professional career and promises to be a key Fantasy asset this season.
In Gameday 1, Faye made history, becoming the youngest player to record 15+ points, 5+ rebounds, and 5+ blocks in a single BCL game. Hidden Gems to Watch
While Faye is highly rated this week, there are several underrated players with impressive potential. One such hidden gem is Azuolas Tubelis from Rytas Vilnius. Though his 5-point debut in the BCL might not have been eye-catching, Tubelis has been rock-solid in the Lithuanian League, averaging 14.5 points and a 16 efficiency rating since. With a price of 13.4 efficiency points, Tubelis could be a valuable addition to your Fantasy roster.
Another budget-friendly pick is Bruno Fitipaldo of La Laguna Tenerife, available for just 8.4 efficiency points. The Uruguayan point guard stepped up following an injury to Marcelinho Huertas, averaging 12.0 points and 8.0 assists in his first two Liga Endesa games this season.
Isaiah Whitehead is another player to keep an eye on, valued at 12.5 efficiency points. The WKS Slask Wroclaw guard has been on a scoring spree since the start of the season, leading his team to victory in the Polish Supercup and consistently hitting double digits in the Polish League. He set a new BCL career-high with 25 points against Szombathely, making him a serious threat to Rytas Vilnius in their upcoming clash.
