PCB Offers Free Tickets for Students at Pakistan vs Bangladesh Second Test

The match will be held at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from August 30 to September 3. To gain entry, students must wear their school uniforms and present their educational institution cards.

According to the PCB, this initiative aims to encourage students to experience the excitement of Test cricket. “Students need to be in uniform and bring their educational cards to enter the stadium. We hope this will attract more young fans to witness the game,” the PCB stated.

This effort is part of the PCB’s broader strategy to involve students in cricket. However, the free entry policy does not cover seating in the PCB Gallery or the Platinum Box. Previously, the PCB had also offered free admission on the fourth and fifth days of the first Test.

In the first Test of the series, Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by ten wickets. Despite a strong first-innings total of 448/6 by Pakistan, Bangladesh responded with a dominant batting performance. Mushfiqur Rahim’s century helped Bangladesh secure a crucial lead. Their bowlers, especially Shakib Al Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz, restricted Pakistan’s second innings, allowing Bangladesh to chase down a small target of 30 runs with ease. This victory gives Bangladesh a 1-0 lead in the series, which is part of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25.
