The Legends Intercontinental T20 League, initially set to start on August 18, has been postponed, as announced in a press release on Friday.

The Legends T20 tournament, which was highly anticipated, aimed to bring together top teams and players from various regions. However, the event has been delayed due to some unforeseen issues. While the official reason has not been disclosed, sources suggest that the delay is due to issues with the player draft and incomplete team logos. As a result, the Legends T20 League’s start has been pushed back, but new dates will be announced soon.
The T20 league will include seven teams: Indo Kings, Asian Avengers, Euro Rangers, American Mavericks, and Trans-Tasman Titans. Additionally, African Lions and Caribbean Vikings will also compete in the tournament. Originally, 24 matches were planned, including two games per day. The opening match was set between Indo Kings and Asian Avengers. It is unclear if this fixture will remain in the updated schedule.
Fans can look forward to seeing legendary players such as Graeme Swann, Brett Lee, Tilakratne Dilshan, and Liam Plunkett in action. Despite the delay, the excitement for the tournament remains high as everyone awaits the revised start date.
