Martin has consistently asserted his departure from Pramac at the end of the year, eyeing a move either to the official Ducati team or a different manufacturer.
However, amidst discussions about Pramac’s future as a Ducati satellite team, Martin faced questions about the possibility of Pramac switching to Honda.
Responding to inquiries, Martin emphasized his focus on ensuring Pramac CEO Paolo Campinoti’s satisfaction regardless of the team’s manufacturer.
Regarding his ultimatum to Ducati, Martin addressed potential risks associated with switching to Honda or Yamaha, citing Ducati’s superior speed. Despite this, he remains committed to his goal of joining the official Ducati team.
When asked about his plans for 2025, Martin indicated that his manager handles negotiations while he remains focused on track performance.
