Stubbs began with a boundary launched over fine leg, followed by a dazzling display of two consecutive audacious scoop shots. Stubbs mercilessly dispatched the third ball for a six over the ropes with a reverse-scoop, and he repeated the feat with the fourth ball, hitting another reverse-scoop for a boundary. The onslaught continued as Stubbs pulled the fifth ball powerfully towards the square leg fence.
