With the recent confirmation that Helmut Marko will not face suspension and his visible presence along side Red Bull GmbH CEO Oliver Mintzlaff in the Jeddah paddock, attention turned to the Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner.
In the midst of speculation fueled by Toto Wolff’s comments about welcoming both Marko and Max Verstappen to Mercedes, Christian Horner reiterated the importance of focusing on the team’s performance rather than future prospects.
Christian Horner emphasized the collective ethos with in the team, stating, “Nobody is bigger than the team,” during an interview with the Sky Sports. He stressed that every individual, from the bottom to the top, has a role to play in the team’s success.
Regarding Marko’s role and discussions with Mintzlaff, Christian Horner clarified that Marko is a consultant to Red Bull GmbH, and any discussions were separate from the team’s operations.
