In the ongoing series between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, winning his third consecutive toss, opted to bowl first, maintaining the same strategy as in the previous two matches. Conversely, Sri Lankan skipper Wanindu Hasaranga, back after a two-match suspension, expressed that he too would have chosen to bowl first in this day game had he won the toss.
While Bangladesh retained their lineup unchanged, Sri Lanka made three alterations. Avishka Fernando, Matheesha Pathirana, and Dilshan Madushanka were replaced by Wanindu , Dhananjaya de Silva, and Nuwan Thushara, respectively.
With the series level at one-all, both teams are geared up for a crucial encounter in the third game.
