Chinnaswamy Stadium, Ellyse Perry’s explosive batting brought an unexpected consequence. The Australia all-rounder, aged 33, smashed a total of four sixes in her innings of 58 off 37 deliveries, with the final one sailing over long-on and crashing through the window of a sponsors’ car placed just behind the boundary rope.
Following the incident, Ellyse Perry gasped and held her head in her hands, later joking about the potential financial repercussions of the broken window. She quipped, “I was a bit worried, not sure I have insurance to cover me. So, in a bit of strife there.”
