She played a pivotal role in India’s resounding innings victory over England in the one-off Test, impressively claiming nine wickets with her off-spin and adding 67 runs as the No. 7 batswoman.
In the Test against Australia, Deepti Sharma emerged as the fourth-highest run-scorer, amassing 78 runs. She also stood out as one of the top wicket-takers in both the ODI (seven wickets at an average of 20.86) and T20I (five wickets at an average of 15.60) formats, contributing significantly to India’s triumph.
