India captain Suryakumar Yadav has climbed five places to No. 7 in the T20I batting charts after rediscovering his touch against New Zealand. Scores of 82 not out and 57 not out in the second and third matches of the series helped power his rise. Allrounder Hardik Pandya has also moved upward, gaining one spot to sit third on the allrounders’ list. His improvement follows a productive spell across formats, with four wickets in the ongoing New Zealand series and 142 runs in four matches against South Africa. Shivam Dube has enjoyed a sharp jump as well, moving up six places to No. 11 after contributing both with the ball and a rapid unbeaten 36 in the second game.

At the very top of the batting standings, Abhishek Sharma has tightened his grip on first place. Explosive knocks of 84 from 35 balls and 68 not out from just 20 deliveries have lifted him to 929 rating points, putting him 80 clear of Phil Salt in second position. Tilak Varma continues to hold third spot despite being sidelined for the remainder of the New Zealand series. Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has also benefited, climbing four places to No. 13 after a match-winning return of 3 for 17 in the third T20I.

England’s players have made notable progress in the ODI rankings following their 2–1 series victory over Sri Lanka. Joe Root surged six places to No. 17 after topping the run charts with 247 runs, while Harry Brook leapt from No. 28 to No. 11 with 184 runs. Spinner Adil Rashid, the leading wicket-taker with seven at an average under 20, moved up six spots to fifth among bowlers.
