Mercedes and Alpine Unveil Dates for 2024 F1 Car Launches

In the lead-up to the 2024 Formula 1 season, Mercedes and Alpine have now disclosed the dates for the launches of their highly anticipated F1 cars, joining the ranks of teams making similar announcements.

Mercedes, the Anglo-German powerhouse, plans to unveil their 2024 F1 car, the W15, during a digital launch event at Silverstone on February 14. The team aims to rebound from their second-place finish in the Constructors’ Championship last season, trailing Red Bull by 451 points. Despite their recent challenges, Mercedes retains confidence in their unchanged driver lineup, with Lewis Hamilton and George Russell set to continue their partnership for the third consecutive year.

On the other side of the spectrum, Alpine, the Anglo-French outfit, has solidified their plans for the unveiling of their F1 challenger. Alpine will introduce their car on February 7, coinciding with a broader event described as a ‘motorsports season launch’ encompassing both Formula 1 and the World Endurance Championship.

As the F1 community eagerly anticipates the debut of these new cars, each team’s launch event promises to provide insights into the design and innovations that will shape the competitive landscape of the upcoming season.
