Alpine has officially announced its collaboration with the Pramac MotoGP team for the 2025 season, becoming the squad’s main partner. The French automotive brand, known for its presence in Formula 1 and the World Endurance Championship, will now lend its support to Pramac, which made history in 2024 by winning the MotoGP riders’ championship with Jorge Martin. This victory marked Pramac as the first independent team to achieve this milestone since Valentino Rossi’s win with a satellite Honda in 2001.
While Prima will remain the title sponsor of Pramac, Alpine will share the spotlight as the primary partner, marking the French company’s first major venture into MotoGP sponsorship. The partnership reflects the strong ties between Renault CEO Luca de Meo and Pramac team principal Paolo Campinoti. De Meo, during his time as director of the Fiat Group, was also instrumental in securing Yamaha’s sponsorship deal from 2007 to 2010.
Paolo Campinoti expressed his pride in the collaboration, calling Alpine a “historic brand” and emphasizing that the partnership demonstrates the value of the team’s hard work and success. “This is the first time that a manufacturer present in the world’s premier racing series has made such an important entry into MotoGP, and the fact that it has chosen Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP to do so is proof of what we have built over these years,” Campinoti said.
Alpine’s director of sales and marketing, Antonino Labate, highlighted the shared passion for performance between Alpine and Pramac, stating that the partnership will bring new experiences for fans and customers alike.
In 2025, Pramac will reunite with Yamaha as its customer team, following the end of its successful partnership with Ducati. The team, which will feature riders Miguel Oliveira and Jack Miller, will reveal its new livery on January 31, ahead of the upcoming pre-season testing at Sepang.
