A highly anticipated showdown for the ONE Lightweight MMA World Title will headline ONE Fight Night 26 on December 6, streaming live on Prime Video. Reigning champion Christian “The Warrior” Lee will make his much awaited return to the octagon, defending his title against undefeated Turkish contender Alibeg Rasulov.

Initially scheduled as the co-main event for ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on November 8, this clash has been elevated to the main event at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, underscoring its significance in the MMA calendar.

Christian Lee, a veteran with 21 fights in ONE Championship, has established himself as a dominant force in the sport over nearly a decade of competition.

He first captured the lightweight title in 2019 with a stunning stoppage of Japanese legend Shinya “Tobikan Judan” Aoki at ONE: ENTER THE DRAGON. Lee defended his title three times before suffering a narrow decision loss to South Korea’s Ok Rae Yoon in 2021. However, he bounced back to reclaim the title in a thrilling rematch against Ok, securing victory with a spectacular knockout.

After a brief stint in the welterweight division, where he claimed the ONE Welterweight MMA World Title against Kiamrian “Brazen” Abbasov, Lee now returns to lightweight to defend his championship against Rasulov.

Alibeg Rasulov, hailing from the MMA power house of Dagestan, brings an impressive 13-0 professional record into the bout. Known for his relentless grappling and fierce clinch fighting, Rasulov made an immediate impact in ONE Championship, defeating former titleholder Ok in a decisive victory that showcased his elite skills.

The December 6 matchup promises to be a thrilling contest between two contrasting styles. Lee showcases impressive finishing ability and well rounded combat skills, while Rasulov excels in takedowns and grappling, making this title fight one of the most anticipated events of the year in mixed martial arts. Fans can expect an explosive encounter as these two top tier fighters vie for the lightweight crown.
