Initially scheduled as the co-main event for ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on November 8, this clash has been elevated to the main event at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, underscoring its significance in the MMA calendar.
Christian Lee, a veteran with 21 fights in ONE Championship, has established himself as a dominant force in the sport over nearly a decade of competition.
He first captured the lightweight title in 2019 with a stunning stoppage of Japanese legend Shinya “Tobikan Judan” Aoki at ONE: ENTER THE DRAGON. Lee defended his title three times before suffering a narrow decision loss to South Korea’s Ok Rae Yoon in 2021.
