At Real Doodle, accuracy and trust are the foundation of our sports journalism. We work hard to get the facts right, but mistakes can happen. When they do, we correct them openly and promptly.
Our commitment
We are committed to reporting sports news, scores, statistics, and analysis as accurately as possible. When we publish an error of fact, we will correct it as quickly as we can and be transparent about what changed.
How to report an error
If you spot a factual error in any of our articles — a wrong score, date, name, statistic, or quote — please tell us. Email the details to corrections@realdoodle.com or use our Contact page. Please include the article title or URL and a description of the error so our editors can review it quickly.
How we handle corrections
- Factual corrections. When we correct a material factual error, we update the article and add a dated correction note at the bottom explaining what was changed.
- Updates. For developing stories (live scores, match results, transfers), we update articles as new information becomes available. Significant updates are time-stamped.
- Clarifications. Where wording may have been unclear or open to misinterpretation, we add a clarification rather than change the original meaning.
- Timestamps. Every article displays its original publish date and, where applicable, a “last updated” date so readers can see how current the information is.
Predictions and opinion
Match predictions, previews, and analysis on Real Doodle are clearly labelled as editorial opinion, not statements of fact, and are not betting advice. Predicted outcomes that do not occur are not treated as errors requiring correction.
