📈 F1’s Streaming Growth & Future TV Deals

🚀 F1 TV subscriptions surged by 15% in 2024, prompting the launch of the new tier. F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali is confident this move will increase revenue and attract more avid fans.
The USA remains the largest market for F1 TV, but Formula 1 is also negotiating with traditional broadcasters. Notably, ESPN’s contract expires at the end of 2024, and no deal has been finalized. 👀
Domenicali addressed rumors about Netflix entering the mix, while confirming talks with ESPN are still ongoing. 🎬📡
🗣️ “We are very happy with ESPN’s quality of service. Just because the exclusive period has ended doesn’t mean discussions are over. Actually, it’s the opposite – we’re still negotiating,” he explained.
With multiple players interested in securing F1’s media rights, the sport is aiming to balance revenue growth with audience reach.
