Jack Miller to Sport Mixed MotoGP Gear Setup for 2025 Season

Pramac Yamaha MotoGP rider Jack Miller will enter the 2025 season with an unusual mix of riding gear, marking a rare split in his equipment sponsorships.

Previously, Miller was exclusively outfitted by Alpinestars, donning the brand’s leathers, gloves, boots, and crash helmet. However, with his move to Pramac Yamaha, he will now wear Dainese leathers, gloves, and boots, while continuing to use an Alpinestars helmet.

Pramac Yamaha’s New Deal with Dainese

The switch comes as a result of Pramac Racing securing a new partnership with Dainese for its official team clothing. The deal extends through the 2027 season, requiring all Pramac riders to wear the brand’s gear.

Pramac team principal Gino Borsoi expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration:

“We are incredibly excited to start this new chapter with Dainese, a brand synonymous with safety, innovation, and excellence in motorsport.

This partnership marks a collaboration between a historic MotoGP brand and a team that has made MotoGP history. Together, we aim to elevate our image and quality standards.

As we take on the challenge of competing with Yamaha in both MotoGP and Moto2, the support and protection from Dainese will be crucial in our pursuit of success. This deal reflects our shared values of quality and dedication to the sport.”

Miller’s Limited Say in the Decision

Amid concerns about his MotoGP future, Miller’s return to Pramac Yamaha for 2025 left him with little choice in his gear setup. With Pramac’s full MotoGP and Moto2 lineup now wearing Dainese, Miller had to adapt to the team’s equipment requirements.

He is not the only rider making the transition. KTM test rider Dani Pedrosa was recently spotted in Dainese gear during the Sepang shakedown. Marking a return to the brand he last wore during his rookie MotoGP season with Honda in 2006.

As Miller gears up for the 2025 campaign, his mixed-brand setup highlights the growing influence of team-wide sponsorship deals in MotoGP.
