Reports by Cricbuzz suggest the 35-year-old may feature in the squad, though his participation in the playing XI is yet to be confirmed.
Kohli’s return, even as a non-playing member, is anticipated to make an impact as he prepares to train with the team. Meanwhile, wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has confirmed his availability for the match and is set to lead the Delhi side. Pant’s inclusion bolsters Delhi’s chances in what promises to be an intense encounter. “Rishabh Pant has confirmed that he will be available for Delhi’s Ranji Trophy game against Saurashtra in Rajkot,” said DDCA secretary Ashok Sharma in a statement to The Indian Express.
