The Professional Fighters League (PFL) will return to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Friday, Nov. 29, 2024, for its highly anticipated World Championship event, and the promotion has just revealed its full fight card. The night will feature six championship bouts, with six fighters set to claim a $1 million prize each.
In the highly anticipated main event, reigning featherweight champion Brendan Loughnane will defend his title against undefeated contender Timur Khizriev. Loughnane, who triumphed in the 2022 tournament by defeating Bubba Jenkins, will look to secure his second world championship. Khizriev enters the fight with a flawless 17-0 record.
The co-main event promises excitement as rising star Dakota Ditcheva takes on former UFC title challenger Taila Santos for the women’s flyweight world championship. Meanwhile, in the light heavyweight division, Impa Kasanganay will face Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov, hoping to clinch back-to-back titles after securing the belt in 2023.
The welterweight championship will feature Shamil Musaev going head-to-head with Magomed Umalatov, while former Bellator MMA lightweight champion Brent Primus will challenge Gadzhi Rabadanov for the lightweight title. Primus is aiming for his second world championship in as many promotions.
One of the most eagerly awaited bouts is in the heavyweight division, where Denis Goltsov will take on Oleg Popov. The winner of this contest could very well become the next challenger for newly crowned PFL heavyweight star Francis Ngannou. Who made a thunderous debut last month with a first-round knockout of 2023 tournament winner Renan Ferreira.
The event will also mark the first-ever PFL MENA (Middle East and North Africa) finals, adding another layer of excitement to the already stacked lineup. The full card is set to kick off at 9:30 a.m. ET and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
