Alejandro Garnacho perfectly captured the excitement of Manchester United fans with a simple yet expressive response as Rasmus Hojlund returned to training after a hamstring injury sidelined him since pre-season.

Hojlund, who joined United from Bologna, has not yet made his competitive debut this season due to the injury he sustained in a pre-season friendly. Hojlund feels frustrated about missing the start of the season for the second consecutive year, as he also struggled with a back issue upon arriving at United last summer. He is eager to make an impact once he returns to competitive action.

Manager Erik ten Hag has been cautious about Hojlund’s and Mount’s returns, emphasizing the need for careful management. United’s squad has faced 66 different injury concerns this season, making it crucial not to rush players back too soon. “You have to be careful,” Ten Hag stated. “In top football, you always go to boundaries. When you have a full squad available, it’s easier to manage the load. We hope we can integrate them in a very careful way.”

United heads into Saturday’s 5:30 PM kick-off against Crystal Palace with renewed confidence following a dominant 7-0 victory over League One side Barnsley in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.
