Rohit Sharma's 92 Ends with Starc's Yorker

Rohit Sharma’s vintage knock of 92 runs off just 41 balls seemed almost retaliatory against their arch-rivals, as if he was seeking redemption for a past defeat. He displayed his mastery of the game with a thrilling display of sensational sixes and fours throughout his innings.

In the 12th over, Starc delivered a perfect yorker that angled back in sharply from wide of the crease. Rohit, positioned back in the crease, attempted to whip the ball across the line but failed to read the delivery correctly. The ball sneaked through his defenses, hitting the middle and leg stumps. Unfortunately, Rohit also got an inside edge onto his back pad, leading to his dismissal.

Despite his departure, Rohit had already accomplished his mission with his aggressive batting display earlier in the innings.

The match continued with Rohit’s dismissal marking a crucial moment in the game, highlighting the intense competition between the two cricketing giants in a high-stakes tournament.
