Oman batted first, but Ruben Trumpelmann and David Wiese’s bowling restricted them to a mere 109 runs.
Namibia looked to chase it down easily, but Oman’s Mehran Khan had other plans. Bowling the final over, he dismissed two key batsmen – Jan Frylinck and Zen Green.

With Namibia needing just 3 runs off the last ball, a misunderstanding between the bowler and the wicket-keeper gifted them a bye, tying the scores and forcing a Super Over!
Namibia learned their lesson and dominated the Super Over. David Wiese and Gerhard Erasmus smashed 21 runs off Bilal Khan, securing a thrilling victory.
