Reflections from Sam Curran
Reflecting on the loss, Sam Curran expressed disappointment but also commended the young players for their resilient performance.
“They exude remarkable confidence, as evident from players like Ashutosh, who displayed the audacity to take on the pacers with sweeps and big hits. While it’s disheartening to fall short in close contests, there are many positives to take from this team. We remain steadfast in our belief and aspire to embark on a winning streak. Tomorrow is a new day, and we look forward to bouncing back,” Curran remarked after the match.
With this defeat, Punjab finds themselves in the 9th position on the table, while Mumbai Indians climb two spots to occupy the 7th position.
