Jurgen Klopp Sends Warning to Manchester United After Draw, Eyes Arsenal Match

Liverpool aimed to secure a victory at Old Trafford to leapfrog their rivals and claim the top spot in the Premier League. Despite taking an early lead with Luis Diaz’s goal, they found themselves trailing after Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo scored for United. However, a late Mohamed Salah penalty salvaged a point for Liverpool, leaving them in second place, level on points with Arsenal but trailing due to goal difference.

With seven games remaining for Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester City, Klopp acknowledges that more twists in the title race could occur. He acknowledges that United could influence the race if they defeat Arsenal in their upcoming match.

On Sunday, Liverpool couldn’t outperform Man Utd

When asked if he would support United against Arsenal, Klopp admitted, “Probably. If we are still in contention by then, that would be great. But Arsenal is a strong team. If United perform like they did today, Arsenal will win, I’m sure. I’m sorry to say that.”

Reflecting on Liverpool’s previous encounters with United this season, Klopp expressed disappointment at not securing victories. Despite Sunday’s draw, Klopp emphasized the need for consistent performance to stay in contention for the title.

While Klopp acknowledged the importance of maintaining distance from rivals, he affirmed Liverpool’s commitment to pushing for success until the final matchday.
