is not mincing his words when it comes to Israel Adesanya’s future in the UFC. Following Adesanya’s loss of the middleweight title and announcement of a hiatus, Vettori believes the reigning champion’s reign at the top is over.
In an interview with The Schmo, Vettori expressed his doubts about Israel Adesanya’s ability to reclaim his former glory. He confidently stated that Adesanya would lose any fight against the top contenders in the division, including projected opponent Dricus Du Plessis and rising star Khamzat Chimaev.

Vettori, who has previously faced Adesanya twice, including a title bout, remains open to a trilogy fight in the future. Despite his past losses to Adesanya, Vettori asserts his readiness to continue competing and eventually secure another shot at the middleweight title.
Vettori’s next challenge comes in the form of Brendan Allen in a UFC Fight Night main event scheduled for April 6 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. As Vettori prepares for his upcoming bout, his bold predictions about Adesanya’s future in the octagon are sure to garner attention and spark debate within the MMA community.
