Veteran South African umpire Marais Erasmus will officiate his final international cricket match during the second Test between New Zealand and Australia in Christchurch. Concluding his tenure on the ICC’s elite panel of umpires, Marais Erasmus leaves behind a remarkable legacy, having served as the on-field official in 82 men’s Tests, 124 men’s ODIs, 43 men’s T20Is, and 18 women’s T20Is. Furthermore, Marais Erasmus has served as the TV umpire in 131 international matches, and Cricket South Africa will decide his future assignments.
