Max Verstappen’s commanding victory in the season opener last Saturday left Red Bull celebrating, but it also ignited discussions about the true nature of their advantage over the competition.
Verstappen’s 22.4-second lead over teammate Sergio Perez and the 25.1-second gap to Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz underscored the extent of Red Bull’s dominance. However, Red Bull team principal Christian Horner believes that the Bahrain race didn’t provide a clear representation due to various factors.
