Despite Fermin Aldeguer’s emergence as a standout talent in Moto2, Pramac Ducati boss Francesco Borsoi refrained from addressing rumors linking the young rider to the team for the 2025 MotoGP season.
While Aldeguer, at just 18 years old, has reportedly secured a deal with Ducati for the upcoming season, Ducati has not made an official announcement regarding his potential inclusion in the Prima Pramac team.
During the team’s official bike launch, Borsoi remained focused solely on the current season, stating, “I just want to comment on 2024. This is my target and I want to talk about my riders.”

He emphasized the team’s concentration on the ongoing races and their pursuit of the team title, leaving discussions about future lineups for a later time.
Aldeguer’s talent draws attention, and securing the Moto2 title in 2024 could set the stage for a MotoGP debut. Reports suggest that Ducati has been monitoring him closely since last season, with rumors circulating that he has already signed a contract with Pramac.
However, Aldeguer remained noncommittal about his MotoGP aspirations during a pre-season interview, indicating that his primary focus is on competing for the Moto2 championship and potentially making the leap to MotoGP as a titleholder.
