The speculation surrounding the future of the Moto2 star has been rife during the winter months, with talks of a crucial meeting with Ducati executives.
Aldeguer has now reportedly reached an agreement to ride for Pramac in the 2025 season, as per Motorsport.
Last year, late rumors linked the 18-year-old Spaniard, who continues in Moto2 with Speed Up Racing, to Repsol Honda and VR46 as potential replacements for and Luca Marini.
However, his existing contract delayed his move to the premier class, allowing Ducati to secure his services in January 2024, paving the way for his promotion to a Pramac seat in 2025.
Hailing from the same region in Spain as rising MotoGP talent Pedro Acosta, Aldeguer’s impending debut adds to the excitement surrounding Spanish riders in the championship.
At Pramac, Aldeguer will join current riders Jorge Martin and newcomer Franco Morbidelli, whose contracts expire at the end of this season. Martin has expressed his desire for factory status next season, while an injury sustained during a WorldSBK test day has hampered Morbidelli’s preparations.
