The ISL 2023-24 season has seen Kerala Blasters’ striker, Dimitrios Diamantakos, shine with seven goals, tying with Roy Krishna of Odisha FC as the top goal-scorer. In an interview with Sportstar, the 30-year-old highlighted the team’s mission to secure trophies for their devoted fans every game, emphasizing the collective effort and fan support.

Diamantakos shared his personal goals, expressing a consistent desire to improve and contribute to the team’s success each year. He acknowledged the challenge of skipper Adrian Luna’s absence due to injury, emphasizing the team’s need to step up in Luna’s stead.
Despite the setback, Diamantakos commended the young Indian players for their hard work, talent, and fearlessness. As the highest goal-scorer in the club’s history, he stressed the crucial role played by these emerging talents in the team’s success.
Under the guidance of coach Ivan Vukomanovic, Kerala Blasters currently lead the 2023-24 ISL points table with 26 points from 12 matches. With more league matches ahead, the team aims to sustain its winning momentum and potentially secure their inaugural ISL title.
